FARMINGTON—Davis County is moving one step closer to having a permanent housing location for the homeless. On Tuesday, July 28, the commission approved a “real estate purchase contract to acquire vacant land for a permanent supportive housing/transitional housing project pending approval of Davis County’s application for a section 108 loan guarantee from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).”
